| O'Fallon Township High School District #203 | ||||
O’Fallon High School has been recognized by the United States Department of Education as one of the finest high schools in the country. Over sixty-five percent of the OTHS graduates enroll directly into a four-year college or university, and an additional twenty-three percent enroll in a community college. This is the fourth year OTHS has had all juniors take the ACT as part of the Prairie State Achievement Exam (PSAE). OTHS had the most students meet/exceed standards in all areas (Math, Science, Reading, Writing, and Social Science) throughout the metro-east area. OTHS students continue to score higher than the national ACT average -- 24.7 for OTHS versus 21.9 for national. In 2003-2004, OTHS had 72 Illinois State Scholars, 3 National Merit Semi-Finalists, 1 National Merit Finalist, 2 National Merit Commended Students. OTHS had 78 IHSA Scholastic Achievement Award Winners, $6.2 million in scholarships offered to the Class of 2004, 6 Academy Appointments and 13 ROTC Scholarships. | St. Clare Catholic School | ||||
| St. Clare School was established in 1868 as a ministry of St. Clare Parish in O’Fallon. Since its inception, St. Clare School has offered students what families’ value most in a Catholic school: an emphasis on academic excellence and solid moral development. | Governor French Academy | ||||
| The Governor French Academy was founded in Belleville in 1983 and serves students four years of age through their twelfth-grade graduation with a college-preparatory course of study. Governor French opened its O'Fallon campus in 1999 beginning with grades K through grade three expanding one grade level each year. Our first eighth grade class will graduate in the Spring of 2006.
The Academy's manner of instruction recognizes each student's individuality by the use of flexible teaching techniques within a highly disciplined curriculum and environment. A truly international institution of learning, all students study Spanish and/or Chinese daily.
In September 2005, Governor French will break ground for its new campus and facility in O'Fallon at 100 Charles Street, less than one block from its current location. Classes will begin at the new campus in May of 2006.
The Governor French Academy is recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education and is accredited by the North Central Association on Accreditation and School Improvement and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation.
